Storyline:
Travelling alone deep in the Indian Ocean, the unnamed man (Redford) wakes up to find his 39-meter yacht taking on water after a collision with a container ship left floating on the high seas. And his navigation equipment and radio disabled, mourning someone unknowingly in the path of storms. Despite his success in patching breached hull, crew his insight and strength that hides his age, a man who barely survived a storm. Use only the maps and charts its progress and nautical sextant, he is forced to rely on ocean currents to carry it across the line of the ship in hopes of stopping a vessel passing through. But despite the relentless sun, and sharks circling his small reduction devices, the sailor always enterprising soon finds his death looking at him.
